About me

I've pretty much always made cakes like my mother used to do, which is where I acquired this skill for cake making and decorating.  I started making Novelty cakes about 10 years ago when I bought a book by Carol Deacon called "Party cakes made easy". 

From this I made cakes just for my children, a year later I made them for my friend's children and another couple of years on it became family of friends - this really was just a hobby.  Eventually  in April 2008, I decided to take the plunge and set up as a Cake maker and I have never looked back.

As well as making cakes I also work part time as a gymnastics coach

with children aged between 3 and 16 years.  

So you can see that I am pretty busy most of the time.
